Folix Falling Waves
Not a note generator — a delay and reverb effect. Echoes fall in pitch, then dissolve into space.
What it does
Falling Waves is a VST3/AU audio effect you insert on vocals, synths, guitars or drums. It takes the sound you already have and sends cascading delays downward in pitch and filter, then those echoes swell into a lush reverb — so every note leaves a moving trail behind it.
It is not a ball-drop instrument or MIDI note generator. You play your track as usual; Falling Waves shapes the space around it. Use it for transitions, ambient beds and tails that feel alive — subtle for depth, or pushed hard for sound-design textures.
Key features
- Insert effect: processes your audio, does not generate MIDI notes
- Cascading delay with falling pitch and filter
- Reverb that rises out of the echoes into deep space
- Tempo-synced or free-running motion, plus freeze and wide stereo
