Our story

The story so far

Folix Audio started the way most plugins do: with a sound that didn't exist yet. Instead of waiting for someone else to build it, we wrote the code ourselves and kept going until it sounded right.

Folix is a made-up word. We hear foliage and helix in it: something organic that keeps growing, twisting into shapes you didn't plan. That's the idea behind every plugin we make, and it's why our motto is simple: shape the unknown.

Our first three plugins are launching now: Euphoria, a multiband mastering dynamics plugin with per-band compression, color and a limiter (out now with a free Windows demo); Falling Waves, a cascading delay-into-reverb audio effect; and Drop 2, a sub-bass instrument for fat, lush basslines and deep sub. More instruments and effects are already in orbit.
